Brake line overcharged by AAA service provider

My car a 2001 Yukon Denali was towed last week by AAA and a shop AAA certified they chose replaced a front brake line from left caliper to right . Used old fittings and 8 foot of tubing . Made it up in shop. They billed me for 4 and 1/2 hours of labor . My local shop who knows my car inside and out said its should take no more than and hour and 1/2 tops. They also spoke to GMC and they bill 10 hours for a total brake line replacement. I am waiting to talk to the manager of the station . Todays phone call resulted inthe the guy on the phone said that was a reasonable amount of time and he wouldnt trust a shop that could do a brake line in an Hour and a half. Fuming over 581 $ brake job ( parts 57 $ labor $486 . What should I do ?

Welcome to the forums.

Talk to a few more shops and get written estimates - one shop saying they could do it in less time is not substantial evidence.

Also, talk to AAA, as they likely have an interest in the reputation of a shop they are backing.
