2002 Ford Escape Power Window

My 2002 Ford Escape (Driver side) window quit working without any warning. Could you tell me what I might check. Where is the fuse and/or relay? Is there anything else to check?

Thank you!

It sounds like it is more likely either a bad drivers side master switch, or the window regulator motor. If you have a meter you can check if the switch is working by doing a simple continuity check, as well as whether you are receiving power to the switch by using the meter for a voltage check, but with the age of the vehicle I think it is very possible you really are dealing with a bad window reg motor. This is a common failure these days on many cars after that many years but once the trim pad is removed replacement is usually fairly simple compared to the past. Most work on a light weight cable system verses the old style scissor type, and replacement parts are usually affordable and easily available off the internet.
