My van has a 700R4 transmission that won't stop leaking on the passenger side pan. The torque converter has recently been replaced. I also had 2 transmission filter and gasket set installed. I thought maybe the pan was bent, so I replaced it with a new one. The leak is still there. Should I drive the vehicle some distance so the gasket seals or is there another problem? It only drips on the passenger side.

I would be looking for another source. Cooler lines come to mind as I think they're on your pax side, they are on my 4L80E.

whenever I have a leak, I buy the glow in the dark fluid, add it to whatever is leaking, give it a week and use a black light to track it down. They have it at most autoparts stores
