I have a 1997 pathfinder witch is getting very poor fuel mileage .the left side exhaust manifold is cracked and the left rear 02 sensor (heater sensor has failed) if anyone else has had these issues and if these repairs have solved the problem or not .new to this form hope I am doing this right .

Welcome to the forums!

What is your current mpg? When was it tuned up last? 4x4s never get great fuel mileage

Without knowing what mileage you are getting and the terrain on which you drive it's hard to say but in general a properly maintained vehicle will get better mileage. With a failed O2 sensor the engine may not be leaning properly.

The cracked manifold and the bad O2 sensor could cause poor mileage. They need to be fixed then go from there. Remember winter blend fuel doesn't get the mileage that you get in summer.
