Honda dome light

I need to replace the dome light in my 2000 Honda CR-V.

Should be a simple replacement but in searching for the correct bulb # i have come across some wild prices in the $5-$24 dollar range.

I know the good folks here can steer (no pun intended), me
to the right bulb

Thanks for any help.

Easy way is to just pull the bulb and check it. Probably a wedge base # 168.

It looks like Honda CRV's from 1997-2001 use four lamps for interior lighting.

The bulb should be a Sylvania DE3022 (depending on trim package). Goes anywhere from 1.75 to 2.50 each.

There are currently several aftermarket LED retrofit bulbs that will also work in there. That's probably the wide variance in pricing your are seeing.

Thanks PJmax and goldstar for your replies.

Being that there seems to be many variations,i pulled the bulb, and went to the local parts store.

Thanks for your inputs

For future reference....the owners manual (if you have it) normally lists the bulbs needed. At least both my vehicles do.
