Brake Light Issue
2000 Toyota Corolla, Both rear brake lights out - bulbs, fuse and brake light switch are good - brake light in rear view window dash works -- ground to sockets is good ... any idea what to check next?

Is there 12V at the socket/connector? With the connector detached, try powering a light with a 12V drill battery to see if the problem is with the light itself of if it's the vehicle wiring or connector at fault.

need to check ground at tail lights. Simple to determine with test light..Have somebody step on brake if test light lights check your grounds..If not check for broke brake light wire or possible bad turn signal switch as brake circuit does go through the turn signal switch
