Grabbing noise when slow-down car

Hi:
Subaru Outback 2000 with very, very low mileage

When I was going to slow-down the car to make the curve of shopping center yesterday, there was distictive 'Grabbing Noise' as if something bad happening that occurred ONLY slowing-down or making the curve of the street. Prior to this, there has been NO noise whatever and the car running good, then it makes me truly puzzling.

Is the brake going bad or what else? If the brake is worn-out, how bad could it be?

Your help would be truly appreciated.

Thanks,

It sounds like you may have a caliper seized on it's pins.

I agree.that the brakes would be the place to look. How serious would be impossable to tell without some investigation
