2004 Chrysler 300 new tires

Hello,

I have a 2004 300 and I need new tires. I'm looking for a nice riding really 'good' tire. Not the best but far from the worst. I guess I looking for about a '7' on a 1-10.

Does anyone work at a tire shop and can help me cut through the BS and name brands and help me find a really nice tire that will last about 3-4 years?

Mileage per year is about average - 12,000 - and the driving is about 50/50 highway and residential.

Any responses/insight are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tripper

I'm currently using Coopers on the rear duals of the wrecker with no complaints. Last set on the back were Hankook and I was real pleased with those. Currently trying out Primewell on the front, but jury is still out. Have also used Yokohamas in the past that gave good service.

Our local tire store sells Hankooks and that's what we have on my wife's Sable. Good wear and price IMO.

tirerack dot com has lots of great facts and feedback about tires.

Don't confuse good information with BS ....

Consumers Report is a good source for ratings and information.

Tires can vary in characteristics from size to size and you didn't tell us what size your Chrysler uses (I'm not going to Google it).

If you want what you are looking for you will have to do some homework. Good luck.
