passenger tires

I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent. I mostly drive on the highway about 45 miles a day to work. I am looking to purchase new tires and was wondering what tires would be better.

Sears Cooper Response Touring - P175/70R13 82T 60K miles $329.96

Hankook Optimo H724 - P175/70R13 82T 70k miles $352.75

Thanks for any input you may have.

You know we don't endorse products, but from my personal experience I will continue to buy Cooper tires.

If you are going to spend that money I would do like a MICHELIN DEFENDER... They run $324 a set for your size by my search...They are a 90k tire too I think.

But I am cheap... I would get 4 of the original Kunho's... The Sense grand tourings could be had for $190 from my search...

If I had a choice from your pick I would go coopers only because I have had them on a few trucks... But thats a whole different tire then it is for cars.

I've been satisfied with Cooper truck tires but don't remember if I've ever had them on a car. My wife's car has Hancooks and they have preformed well, I'd buy them again.

I tend to buy my tires on tirerack.com and you can see some reviews and specs that way - even if you choose to buy them elsewhere it tends to be useful information.

Thanks for your input. I think I'll go with the Cooper tires. I should have mentioned the price includes installation and tax. I just was't sure if Cooper (60k) was as good as Hankook (70k). For about $20.00 more if I get the Hankook I get 10k more miles supposedly...
