1995 jeep wrangler fuel leak

Thank you for your tips. I have a 1995 jeep wrangler 4 cyl. 5 speed manual tranny. Every time I start it up, I notice a heavy fuel leak from the fuel filter area. I can not pinpoint where the leak is coming from and whether it is the filter itself. Replacing the fuel filter seems straight forward and easy. But I am not sure this will fix the problem. Is anyone familiar with this jeep and can give some suggestions as to where the fuel leak could be coming from ? At one time I let it run for a few minutes and the leak seemed to stop on its own. But if I start it the next day, it leaks again.

It's pretty hard for us to help you find that leak. Get a mirror and a flashlight. I use a mirror on a pullout handle to get under things and look up. Since your fuel system is pressurized....it can be leaking in many places.
