Windshield washer leaking

I have a 2004 buick lesabre. Windshield washer is leaking - a hose or may be the reservoir. I can see where the reservoir is but nut sure how to remove the connectors that hold a cover under it so I can see it better.

Then I'm wondering if this may be a DIY project or if I need to go to a repair shop.

Unless you had water freeze in the reservoir it's likely a cracked hose. It should be easy to replace, just match up the size at the auto parts store - they'll call it vacuum line. If you post a pic of the cover we can probably figure out how it comes loose ..... or maybe a member will be familiar with your buick.

I agree. Wifey's Jeep Grand Cherokee panel would indicate "coolant" low once a month or so. Turned out it was the hose at the radiator. Cut off half inch installed a ring gear clamp and no noise in 5 months

Some GM cars use a winshield wiper pump like this

2004 BUICK LESABRE Windshield Washer Pump

including yours .

The little plastic thing at the bottom of the pump extends into the tank / reservoir . At that point , there is a little rubber gromet that seals between the tank and the pump .

I had yo go to the Chevy dealer to get the gromet , for my Wife's Lumina .

So , if you do not find a leaky hose , check this .

God bless
