leak at intake manifold

I have a 2004 buick lesabre with 100,000 miles. Had my car in for repairs and the mechanic discovered that I have coolant and oil leaking from intake manifold.

It appears it is minor at this point and I was told I should not worry about it unless it gets worse.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Harlan

this is very common issue with these cars. and no along as you watch your levels and make sure that they are not mixing(oil in coolant/coolant in oil). its not a cheep repair we do the same thing at our shop(mostly for cars that do not get driven much). its more of a warning to a big bill coming up. but we would have added some stop leak for the coolant leak. because that can get bad fast.

Thanks for the reply! Are you saying I should add stop leak to the coolant?

I am saying you should fix it. It's not the best combination to have BOTH leaking.

yes as long as it is a minor leak and you know that it does not get driving that much. meaning <3000 a year.
