2001 Grand Cherokee Fuel Pump

I just change the fuel pump and filter. But the new one makes a loud buzzing.
I returned the new fuel pump to the store and they gave me another, but the problem continues. When I put the old fuel pump the buzzing disappear. I have no idea. Can somebody help me?
Thanks.

After market pump from a parts store? May have slight differences from stock.

My SUV pump would sometimes be audible (buzz or hum) but it wasn't an issue once moving on the road.

Your old pump didn't work, right? The new one is. Most all aftermarkets are a little louder initially. I have a racing pump on my Cummins diesel. You "know" it is working
