2008 Yukon Charging Voltage Varies
I have a GMS Yukon that we picked up used not to long ago.
It has the 5.3 motor in it if that makes a difference.
I noted that the charging voltage will drop to around 12 volts for a time and then return to the typical 14 volt range on the meter yet no charging malfunction light comes on at any time.
Is this normal?

Donno. I have Torque connected to my Ridgeline, and I sometimes watch voltage. It will go anywhere from 11.3
to 13.7
as you drive. Reckon, it depends on where ECM is directing the power supply, you know. And it's not just mine, other owners noticed same.
