1990 Honda Accord Check Engine Light and "S" Light

1990 Honda Accord LX, 4 Doors, AT, 248,600 miles. I think this maybe two problems, Check Engine Light (CEL) and "S" light.

After reset CEL/ECU code by removed "Back Up" fuse in the under-hood relay box for 10 seconds and put it back, the CEL is steady ON and "S" light is off when I jump "Service Check Connector" at passenger side kick panel and turn key to on position. This is normal according to service manual.

Remove jump wire, drive for about 15 minutes (sometimes longer), the "S" light start flashing while driving. Stop car and turn off engine, then turn key to ON. "S" light remain OFF. Start engine and "S" light still remain OFF like normal. Turn off engine, jump wire. Then turn key to ON, got "S" light short flashing twice (error code #2?) and pulse for 3-4 second and repeat again. Then, repeat two short flashing again. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?

If I ignore this problem and drive my car like normal, CEL will steady ON after driving for another 30-40 minutes (sometimes longer). Stop car and turn off engine, then turn key to ON. CEL will ON for 2 seconds and then off like normal. Start engine and CEL and "S" still off like normal. Turn off engine and jump wire, then turn key to ON. CEL reports error code #1 (Oxygen Content (with CATA)). In addition, "S" has one short flashing and pulse for about 1 second, then two short flashing and pulse for another 2-3 seconds and repeat again (error codes #1 and #2?). For CEL, does this mean O2 sensor is bad? Would change O2 sensor fix this problem for sure? For "S" light, what this additional one short flashing means? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the manual and pictures. According to your experience, how much likely it is bad O2 sensor for CEL code #1? Do you have manual for "S" flashing light code 1 and 2?

Hmmm... I'd say, it might as well be a bad insulation. Have you noticed how it says "sensor OR circuit"? Mouse chew on insulation or it simply burnt through. Just had that happen on my Ridgeline.
Look uop how to check sensors. It's not that hard.
You can also go here:

(boobs not my idea) and download your particular vehicle factory manual. Will have step by step walk through.
