Welcome to the forums! If you have the belt installed, you are exerting pressure on not only the crank, but camshaft and other internal parts. Can you crank it via starter? Why do you need to crank it manually? Try removing spark plugs to relieve piston pressure.

It's not an interference engine, so fortunately that won't be an issue. More details?

Is this a manual trans car? If so, double check that it's in neutral.

Also make sure that you've removed any blocks of wood, etc, that you may have used to hold the crank stationary so that you could tighten the crankshaft bolt.

Otherwise, it could be that the belt has skipped half a tooth and, as such, is riding over the top of the cam pulley notches rather than in them.

Use crankshaft center bolt to turn it. Also make sure at NO POINT IN TIME do you turn crank counter clockwise, or you will bust the main seal.
Do like suggested - remove spark plugs.
