FOB not working

My 2009 Buick Allure's doors are not working - locks one or 2 doors sometimes.

My concern is my wife being out ( we live very rurally) and the key may not open the drivers side door.

Is this a possibility - or is it impossible to get locked out?

Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Regards

Is this a two door or four door vehicle ?
If any of the doors are working with the fob..... then the fob is not the problem.

If your key fits the door then you shouldn't get locked out.

Have you replaced the battery in it?

it is a 4 door -- battery was replaced in the fob 2 days ago -- the trunk works with the fob -- but the doors are not right-- think it may be the door lock mechanism as I see they had problems with dthem -- The key works fine -- so I guess it would be safe to leave it -- despite the inconvience.

Take care

With most GM vehicles..... when you push the unlock button once..... the drivers door unlocks.
A second push of the same button should unlock the rest of the doors.
