soundproofing

ANyone use the peel n seal product that is at Lowes for soundproofing in their car.
Did you have to put in all over or just in the doors... elaborate please..

Soundproof for what? How about the roof panel?

For road noise sound proofing you go on tire wells, floor, trunk, rear tire wells. Tire wells are likely to be the most road noise emitters.

This is a huge topic and there is lots of heavy debate on what is necessary, what works, etc. I have had good luck using dynamat and dynaliner. I don't cover the entire area with dynamat, I only go for about 25% coverage as this seems to be enough to really cut down the vibrations. For the dynaliner I do cover the entire area. Especially on door panels it makes a big difference.
