2001 Honda Odyssey A/C seized

My 01 honda Odyssey A/C compressor clutch seized and broke the belt. Can I replace the clutch without removing the compressor from the vehicle?

the chances are if the bearing seized it was super hot at some point and the whole compressor has been weakened. or at least the front seal, and you will be fixing again in a month or two. save yourself a headache and just replace the whole compressor.

It really depends on your vehicle configuration.
Should comp be real low down there, you likely be able to access it via removed wheel and fender cover.
But the thing is - clutch really does not seize by itself. Bearing falls apart and clutch can go crooked. But if it still sits plumb on the comp shaft - but won't turn - then your comp is seized. As if the ac pulley and clutch seized together - they should still be able to spin functional comp.

You may also find the clutch assembly could be pretty pricey.
