check engine light

Good day to everyone. I have a problem with check engine light with my 2008 honda civic. I replace my headers with a weapon r and i also put weapon r cel eliminator. But my cel is still on. And if i erase the codes with obd2 scanner it does means the check engine light will turn off.

I hope you can help me to figure it out. Thanks..

You would probably be better off looking for a Honda specific forum that deals with modifications. Or contact the company directly, you can send email direct to their tech support.

That said, normally resetting the CEL will not be a problem as long as it's not flashing. If it comes on again, then you may have an issue.

You always need to clear the codes after performing any sort of repair. The light doesn't just go off on its own.
