Buick with front end shimmy

My 2004 Buick Century has a very subtle shimmy coming from the front end. It is only noticeable at freeway speeds and only on smooth asphalt. It becomes much more noticeable when making right sweeping turns on the freeway. Turning the wheel to the left does not change the intensity of the shimmy.

Wheel bearings maybe? None of the wheels were hot after a 400 mile drive this weekend.

Acquired the car with 97K and it has 147K on it now. Routine fluid changes and new front brakes and rotors is all that has been done. Good treads on the tires still.

Any thoughts? Thanks

Have you had the balance of the tires checked?

No, have not checked the balance of the tires. I thought an out of balance tire is more speed sensitive and not too sensitive to the direction of travel?

Have you jacked it up and checked each wheel individually? you might try moving the front tires to the back and see how it goes.
