Is it possible to take a headlight assembly apart and reseal to keep water out, this is on a 2001 ford Taurus it is not just moisture but a whole lot of water. took of car but have found no cracks any place, so thinking it is seal, not sure Has any had this problem and if so how did you correct?
If you replaced where did you get replacement at and how much? Thanks in advance for input

Nope...time for new. You can prolong the agony by drilling a couple of holes once it's out, draining and then letting it dry for a few days, then sealing the holes and joints with clear silicone, but aftermarket is pretty cheap on most cars. Esp a popular older car like that.
There's also auto recyclers...

I think my wife's merc sable is an 03, it had the same problem I replaced her headlamps with aftermarket ones. They were a little over $100 a piece. I think maybe they price them by size as I replaced others [smaller] for about half that price.

Aftermarket lights are incredibly cheap nowadays. I just put a complete set of front lights (2 headlights, 2 turn signal assemblies with bubls) on a project car, '97 Camry, for $65.
Looks like about 80 bucks for the pair for a Taurus.

I installed aftermarket headlights in both of my cars (2003 Impala and 2005 Malibu) and the price was about $100 for each pair. But one of the new headlights on the Impala seems to get moisture in it.
So save your shipping box and receipt.

Yes you can but the time and effort and meager results not worth it at all.
And why bother?
