96 Suburban turn signal

Four ways work but no turn signals. I was told that the flasher is the same for hazards and turn. I replaced the signal switch but still no turn signals... I'm at the point to try to hot wire them. Anybody got a better suggestion? I can't seem to find a good wiring diagram online...

Welcome to the forums Jeff!

Not sure about online but Hayne's Manuals always have a wiring diagram at the back of the book.
Do your brake lights work? On my 76 Ford there was a short in the steering column that made my turn signals problematic, wound up soldering in a jumper wire to make them trouble free .... do you have air bags?

Need the exact model name and engine size.

Did you check the directional fuse ?
Hot wire them ? How ?
You replaced the directional switch IN the column ?
