2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS dynamic headlights

I have a service warning on my dash for the "Headlight range control" both of my headlights are working fine and I cant afford to go into a dealership just to have them tell me something im hoping someone here can. Is there something that needs aligned or maybe a sensor that needs replaced? that may be common for this?

For starters, you'll be chastised for using "xxealership" around here. It's not welcomed.
I honestly suggest to go to Mitsu forums and inquire there. It's a really narrow special question and someone at those forums may have solution.
My wild guess is it's one of the headlight computers going bad.

Of course you are...but derogatory terms are not allowed. If you want to say "I don't want to go to a dealer because of all the hassles and expense". That's fine.

Just like we don't allow bashing of big box stores. I worked at one, and I was damn good at my job. You can't paint everyone with the same brush (or whatever the saying is).

Should I say all roofers are bad because of one I've dealt with? Or carpenters? Or electricians?

oh, i never said any of them were bad at their job, just very expensive, especially for those who have import cars that no one will work on but dealers and you're paying $200 just for the lift fee. I understand and wont use that term again.

I signed up for 2 different mitsubishi forums and neither of them sent me an email verification yet so still sitting on my hands...
