99 Chrysler Sebring jxi fuel hose keeps getting forced off

My son has a 99 Chrysler Sebring jxi convertible. Just had the water pump replaced but now the fuel hose is somehow being forced off. I have changed the hose clamp and tightened it and tried pulling it off and it won't come off. But when he drives its off again by the time he gets to where he is going. Its coming off at the point where the metel line comes up and the rubber hose carries the fuel to the engine. Thanks for any help, hopefully we can fix it before it catches fire.

Should not be a hose clamp on any fuel injected gas line.
Did the crimp connection leak at some point and the hose clamp was a quick fix?

Sounds like you will have to get the proper fuel line with crimped fittings.

Thanks, taking it to the mechanic in the morning for the proper crimped fittings.

I had a '98 Dodge and it used a sort of snap on fitting with a U-shaped lock ring to keep it in place. No typical hose clamps or anything.

Thanks I'll check to see if its a snap on fitting if it is, sounds like something I can do myself and save the cash.
