Damaged Steering Damper Bellows Question

My old 1990 Honda Accord both Steering Damper Bellows broke and split in half, but still hanging in it's places. I am not planning to keep this car too long until all tires wore out or even earlier if it can't pass CA smog check. Tires' thread depth still have 6/32 inches. My question is what would happen if I don't fix them and keep driving this car? What would be the worst case?

Inner tie rod ends going bad. Sand and dirt tearing seal in rack. Would take longer than you plan on having car before this happens if parts are good now. I would guess inner tie rod ends are going bad now.

Thanks for the replied. With 6/32 inches tire thread, I would expect to drive at least another 3 years if it passes CA smog check. Hopefully the tie rod end still good through these 3 years.

Have seen them last for years and have seen them go bad in a few months, Depends on conditions you encounter.
