2000 Impala headlight issue

I have a 2000 Impala. Dash message says it has a high beam out. Both blinker lights stay on all the time. (Steady, not flashing) All lights are working. Is there a sensor causing this, and if so, where is it located?

Welcome to the forums.

Did you check and see if one of the high beams is actually not working ?

If I remember correctly those cars had an issue with the hazard light module. Try operating the hazard lights switch several times and see if that changes anything.

There isn't a sensor that monitors the bulbs. There is circuitry in the BCM (body control module) that monitors the current draw or lack of current draw to determine if a bulb is out.

Yes, I have checked several times. All lights function. I'll check the hazard lights. Rear turn signals function properly, but both signals flash on the front regardless of which one is turned on.

Look for a faulty ground on one of the turn signals.
