Restoring metal

I'm looking for something to remove rust and give a nice finish. I saw a website for zinc/manganese parkerizing solution. Has anyone used this before? It's from *************

 

there is a lot of ways to remove rust many chemical rust removers out there plus there is other mechanical methods like sanding or sand blasting if its just surface rust a wire wheel can usually remove it without to much of an issue to keep the metal looking nice afterwards usually it is sealed with a primer sealer and painted for like a car body could also be powder coated you would need some sort of coating that seals the metal from the atmosphere there is also undercoating paints and rust proofing paints.
Parkerizing is generally done in a heated bath for firearm parts where its changes the color of the metal and does provide some protection for the finish afterwards the metal will absorb oil well but can easily be scratched and if not oiled on a regular basis rust may reform.

 

The rust that you see comes from the surface and which can not be replaced by something in a bottle or can.
Chemicals can remove the rust but the surface then needs to be refinished to make it look like it did before.
