Question Donut tire for 2012 Buick Verano, how long will the tire stay up car sitting

I had to put the donut on after a flat. I got it home safe; just a few miles travel. It's Saturday and I won't be able to get a new tire until at least Monday. How long can the car just sit there in the garage on the donut tire without the donut tire going flat? Will it typically hold up at least for several days if I am not traveling on it?

The spare should hold air fine. It will only go flat if it has a leak.

No sustained driving or high speed driving. It will be good for several days for the short hop here and there until you get a replacement.

Your owners manual will tell you what the limits are but I swear I see people on the freeway doing 70 with those things so just temp usage will be fine!

If I remember correctly it states on the tire not over 50mph or more than 50 miles but like Marq I've seen folks drive on them for weeks. I suspect the main danger is excessive wear on the drive train if on a drive axle and poor handling.
