Just last month, and after 294,000 miles on my Volvo, I had growing similar problems with the Instrument Cluster or DIM (Device Interface Module) and had to pull it out of the dashboard and send it off to have the solder on the printed circuit board re-flowed.

The Clock had become unreliable; the ambient temperature was erratic; Turn Signals ceased to flash inside; Speedometer and Tachometer needles would fall to zero occasionally and then re-awake; and various LED panels lost their back lights.

But my issues didn't happen all at once, and many of them were temperature dependent . . . . coming and going with changes in the temperatures in the Passenger Compartment. Maybe yours is just a fuse ?

My Instrument/Information Cluster is back now; and all is well.
