2008 Infiniti G35x - Something Hanging from Bottom of Car

I heard a sound today when I was driving. I checked underneath, and there is a piece of metal hanging. It is near the front of the car. It's a 2008 G35x. I'm not sure what it is and if it's something that can be temporarily fixed or cut with metal snips. I'm hoping that I can hold out until Saturday when I'll have a chance to take it for repair. I appreciate any input.

Looks like heat shielding for one of the catalytic converters, usually I use a large mettle worm gear clamp or band clamp to reattach those, most people just cut them off. The shields are suppose to prevent debris from igniting.

Yes, just the cat heat sheild, they rust away. Just yank the loose part off and you are fine. Don't park on a pile of dry leaves, the cat gets hot enough to ignite things, that's why there is a heat shield.
