Need to replace headlight of my 2012 Versa hatchback
Unplugged power, took out the rubber dust cover but then struggling removing the clips.
Took to a Valvoline but even they could not remove it

Any tips how I cam remove the clips holding the bulb?

Thanks ! Releasing the metal holding arm is where I am having difficulty. No matter how much I push it , it does not release . Will try one more time today after work

If you look very closely at pictures #8 and #9 you can see where and how the retainer is attached. It is very easy to undo the wire latch by pushing down and out from the bracket on each side, again look at the pics long enough and you will see what I mean.

I am back with more questions --

So finally I was able to install the headlight. However, the problem now is with the dust cap.

If I connect the power cord to the light without a dust cap, it works perfect. But once I install dust cap, the connector does not connect tight and light is off

Is there any harm not using the dust cap ?
