Scion XB Power steering Pump Issue

My wife and I have been having a battle with her car over the last few months where the bolt of the top of the power steering pump works its way loose and it ends up throwing the belt off the track. I keep putting the bolt back in and it keeps working out about once a month. Would it be ok for me to use some thread lock to keep the mounting bolt in, or is there something that I need to replace?

While loctite might help it sounds to me like something is out of alignment or vibrating causing the bolt to work loose.

So I am still a newer auto DIYer and I'm still learning a lot of names and causes of issues. What should I be checking to see what is out of alignment?

When you have it put back together and running - look at the belt to see if it's running true. Before you put the belt back on you might spin the pulley to see if it wobbles. Also listen for any strange noises/clicks.
