Transmission installation Ford 5r55e

Just bought a used transmission from junkyard 5r55e. I forgot to put a quart of fluid in the torque converter. Trans is mounted and cross member put back on. Should I just fill it or do I need to re pull the trans. 97 Exploder.

When everything is bolted back in place, fill trans with 4 quarts of fluid. Crank engine and run for 30 seconds. Add more fluid and do same. Check fluid level and stop adding fluid when showing quart low.
Run engine to warm trans fluid and check again. Since the fluid expands with heat it will probably show full when warm. This won't work with the newest transmissions that don't have a dipstick.
