What Type of Paint for newly replaced Rocker Panels

I am having slip on Rocker panels replaced this week or next and want to beef up the paint. I was thinking something along the lines of a Bed liner type paint or even a undercoating rubberized type. Its an 06 expedition with only 84k miles on it. Runs great and this is the only issue with it. I found some roll on stuff from jamestown distributors that looks descent but really want to put a thick preventative coating on it as I don't want to do this again. I am having the mechanic really treat the back side of them but I am going to do the painting to save some money. The doors hide 99% of the rocker. THANKS

Top coating is not important, it's the base/primer that makes the big difference.

Epoxy primers offer the best corrosion protection regardless of what the top coat is!!
