Can I use aluminum to repair the body?

What do you want to do.... use aluminum as a "bondo type" body putty ?

As in taking a piece of aluminum beat into shape and pop rivet or screw to the body sure, but the original body is steel so aluminum is not compatible for conventional repairs.

When aluminum and steel contact each other it will corrode. In other words the repair would be short term.
