Where can I get a service manual for a 2012 Ford Fusion SE?
Would specifically like to see a diagram of the blend door and duct in said Fusion.

 

It's so hard to find free service manuals. You can buy smaller general books but they aren't usually that helpful. I've always bought the service manuals for my vehicles but they were all over $200 a set.

I was poking around and found an interesting video. Maybe it'll be of some help.

could try your library for chilton repair manuals or there is subscription services at all data still.

 

Check eBay or FB marketplace, always tons of manuals for sale, but most likley not the one you need! I also see lots of them at donations centers and used book stores.

 

PJ is right. Most likely any manual you find won't go into that detail unless you get the factory tech manuals. And even then, they may not be that specific. And nowadays a degree in nuclear physics is needed to fix a car.

 

When I had blend door issues on my Dodge P/U, I went to the dealer to ask about parts for it, he printed out a diagram & showed me how it was put together, what had been updated & what the changes were. Then he just gave me the diagram.

Next time you get into town, run by the Ford dealer parts/service dept and ask if they would print you that page. Its worth a try I guess. Some parts desk people are more helpful than others.

There are several Ford Fusion forums online. The forums will have info on replacing the blend door for your vehicle, and may have service manuals posted in the doc section.

 

Made the mistake of getting one on ebay. That did not work out. Was supposed to be able to access the pdf file as a web page but could not open it.
Wife bought a manual on a thumb drive. It would load and got an opening screen, but never could open a page.
Wondered if someone tried to copy a manual from a dealership and botch the download.

Watched the recommended video. It is good. Every other repair found on the internet is about the actuator.
However, have read you should be able to turn the knob of the blend door by hand. I cannot. It seems to be stuck. Was hoping to remove the blend door without tearing out the dashboard.
