Sprung Door

The wind blew the right front door of my 2000 Taurus violently open. The door shuts now, but the upper rear corner doesn't close flush to the frame and there is much wind noise. Repair suggestions?

It sounds like a hinge is bent or worse yet, the A-pillar or door frame was tweaked when the wind caught the door.

Does the door still line up correctly w/ the fender when closed? If you open the door & look at the hinge mounting areas, does anything look bent?

Musta been some wind! Wow. Either that, or Ford's hinges are gum .

Sounds like a bent hinge. Something to let a body shop handle. You can do it yourself, but door alignment is a bit of a PITA.
