Timing Belt

Both my cars have just hit 100,000. Do you recommend changing the timing belts?
If I let it go, what will happen to my car if the belt snaps while on the move?

Car 1: 1994 Saturn SC2 DOC
Car 2: 1996 Nissan Pathfinder 4X4

The Saturn has a chain, not a belt.

The original design of the Saturn chain tensioner/guide is faulty and lacks an oil hole. There's a 250 dollar kit with revised parts. You'll need to go for that.

As for the Pathfinder, yes, it's time.
