One Wiper Slower

Well winter has hit and i am sure it had something to do with this. The blade on the driver side (when the wipers are on) is not moving at the same speed as the wiper on the right. Is there an adjustment or tightening that can be done to stiffen this up? It seems to be loose.

Take the cowl screen off so you can see the mechanisms.

Are they loose or disconnected? Watch how they operate and see if you can see anything amiss.

Check www.alldata.com for known bulletins if any, on this problem.

Not sure how the wiper arms are actually mounted to the drive posts on that particular vehicle, but you might want to check that they are tight if they are of the tapered variety with a nut for security. Could be the drive post or socket in the arm are stripped.
