1990 Ford Aerostar spark plugs and wires

I've been trying to change the spark plugs and wires on my 1990 Ford Aerostar van, but I just can't reach them all. I've tried from under the hood, from under the engine on the ground and from inside the vehicle through the access panel in the floor board. I don't have enough room to put my hand on all of them. This is a 3.0 liter V6. The plugs have been changed before, but by a certified mechanic. How in the world did he do it without pulling the engine. Please help!!

You have got to pull the front wheels off to access the plugs.

Been there. Done that. Have patience.

Does this apply to 1996 Ford Windstar (3.0, 6 cylinder) vans as well? Those back plugs look impossible to get at.

this "trick" works well on all vans and quite a few sports cars, Corvettes come to mind.....
