96 Honda Civic brake repair
#1
#2
Don'r recall the configuration on Honda rear, but here's a couple of ideas:
1. Check to see if there is a retainer bolt of any kind; some cars have a large screw (the ones I remember were #3 phillips) that you have to remove from the front face of the drum.
2. Smack it a couple of times with a hammer to break it loose. Can also squirt some penetrating oil or WD40 around the holes that the lug studs go through.
3. Look in face of drum to see if there are a couple of threaded holes. These can be used to "push" the drum off. Just have to find out what size the threads are then get two bolts that size about 2" or so long. Thread them into the holes at equal rates or alternating a little at a time between the two and it should bring the drum free.
Good luck.
