bad gas

Like an idiot I bought a 1990 toyota pickup that ran ggreat when the guy parked it 3 years ago but he never started it and didn't put stabilizerin the tank.i've done it all changed the fuel filter twice flushed the tank three times changed plugs,wires ,cap,rotor I still have no power its hard to start cold it wont go over 40mph it hesitates on acceleration it misses.what should i do?the check engine light stays off when the engine is running...

Engine size? May have gummed up the throttle body, carburetor or fuel injectors.

22R carbureted or 22RE fuel injected motor? Or V6?

Need more details to help. Likely still has fuel system contamination.

thanks for your input joe.my toyota has a 3.0 v6 if i change plugs it will run good for a little bit then go back to loss of power.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge. The rotten fuel may have gummed up the pump or injectors.
