1998 Ford F150

I have a 98 Ford F150 with a 4.2 liter V6 in it. The temperature gauge is reading normal but I have no heat coming out of my air vents. It is full of coolant and is not leaking anywhere. Is it the thermostat? If it is some tips on replacing it would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Check and see if both heater hoses are hot to the touch and if both are then your problem is inside the truck. The problem will probably either be your hot/cold switch(these do go bad quite often)or the electronic blend door actuator.

On my 97 ford a pencil fell down the vent and blocked the door open. make sure the hot cold knob moves though all positions easily if not ... it maybe the heater door
