Toyota 22R head gasket

I made the tragic mistake of using gasket sealent on my head gasket when I replaced it (was still learning at that time). I now have an oil leak coming off the timing chain cover (most likely the crank shaft seal). I know I can remove the timing chain cover without taking the heads off, but this will definately tear the front portion of the exhisting head gasket, that is something I'd like to avoid. Brute force is not an option as this may damage the heads. If anybody has any idea on an easy, or moderately trying way to get the heads off, I'll name my first born after you!

Pick up a repair manual and it will help guide you through the steps.

Most times it will even have time saving tips or other cautions to adhere so that the job goes easier.

This is one of Toyota's poorer designs . The rest of the engine is fine though and quite durable .
