90 Camry

Had a new wtr. pump, timing belt, cold start injector and
timing switch put in my '90 Camry. Runs nicely, but fuel mileage has dropped.
Tech wanted to do a tune-up also, but as the thing was getting outstanding mileage (33mpg) anyway, and I had just dropped
almost a grand into the car for the work, I passed on the tune-up.
What I'm asking is: will a distr. cap, wires and spark plugs do it, along with a new air filter,or is something else involved.

If you can't remember when the last time it was tuned up, it's time .

A tune up can only help, not hurt performance and fuel mileage.
