Please Help!

HI EVERYONE!

I HAVE A CHEVY 1988 BERRETA, AUTOMATIC TRANSMITION, IT STARTS GOOD AND RUNS GOOD, BUT, SOMETIMES WHEN I STOP IN A TRAFFIC LIGHT IT TURNS OFF , STARTS OK BUT WHEN I SWITCH TO DRIVE , TURNS OFF AGAIN.......IT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY , AND I TRIED LIKE 15 MINUTES AND NOTHING HAPPENED , STARTED OK , BUT WHEN I CHANGED GEAR TO DRIVED , IT TURNED OFF AGAIN , 'TILL AFTER 15 TRYING I COULD GET IT TO RUN TO MY HOUSE .
SOMEBODY KNOWS HERE WHAT COULD IT BE?
PLEASE HELP ME!

1. Please release your CAP LOCK key.

2. It sounds like your Torque Convertor Clutch solenoid is sticking. You have a few options when it comes to the TCC solenoid.

A) Unplug it and suffer a small loss in fuel economy.

B) Try to free it with an additive such as K&W Trans-X (it's cheap & it often works)

C) Replace the TCC solenoid.

BUT PLEASE DON'T TYPE POSTS IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!!

It is the equivalent OF SHOUTING EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING.

(and is much harder on the eyes to read).
