front pipe keeps coming loose

I installed a front pipe on a '94 tercel a few weeks ago. It keeps leaking(a hissing sound when accelerating)! I re-tightened all 6 bolts(2 to manifold, 2 to cat, 2 for oxygen sensor) once and it was fine, but now a week later, it's loose again. Anyone experience an annoyance like this?? Any suggestions? I did get the nuts/bolts from the autoparts store... Thanks.

Can you tell if the bolts are coming loose? Lock-Tite (the kind that is not permanent) might help.

Are they being torqued to the proper value as well?

Is there a bad gasket there?

The bolts may be loosening a little so the lock-Tite sounds like a good idea. As for the gasket, I did put a new one in there so I doubt that's it. But I suppose it could be. I'll check it out so I can verify exactly what's happening. thanks

and another verdict!

There problem here was the bolts holding the O2 sensor on. I didn't tighten them very well and they were very loose. After tightening them quite a bit, the hissing sound went away.

That'll do it. Good job tracking it down...
