order of bleeding brakes...

I read last night that RWD vehicles are bled in the opposite order as FWD vehicles. In other words, in a FWD vehicle, you bleed the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, then work your way back to the closest. And on a RWD, you do the opposite. Is this true? I don't understand why.

I always bleed the same on FWD or RWD. Farthest First, Closet Last. If there is a different sequence between FWD & RWD it's news to me. Maybe I'm doing them wrong!!!

I agree. Closest last.

The air will find its way out to the longest expanse, which is generally the RR wheel being the furthest from the master cylinder.
