mercedes heat problem

I have a 1984 mercedes benz 300D turbo diesel with 250,000 miles. Im having a problem with my heat. When i turned on the heat, the fuse would blow immediately. The only two things on the circuit are the blower motor and the air conditioning compressor but, the air conditioning comprssor doesn't have a belt on it so that couldnt be cause the problem right? Any way, i got another blower motor from a junk yard and installed that. It blows for about 10 minutes but then it blows the fuse. Coulnd i still have a bad blower motor or is it most likely a problem with the wiring or something else? Any ideas of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Might have a shorted blower motor resistor or other problems in the system.

Make sure the fan isn't jammed up with leaves or dirt that might cause it to overheat and blow the fuse.

Get a wiring diagram for this and start from there.
